A company is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer - Battery Storage.



Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of reliable and scalable applications for BESS assets deployed on AWS using Python
Implement best practices in software development, focusing on high-quality code and continuous improvement
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers and data scientists


Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in backend software development, particularly with Python and AWS
Experience designing scalable distributed systems with a focus on data integrity
Proficiency in SQL and database design and integration
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives from concept through execution
A passion for solving complex technical challenges in the energy sector
