Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join the culinary team at Chef Daniel Boulud Restaurants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of menu items to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain efficient kitchen operations and implement innovative ideas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.Requirements:
    • Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume culinary environment.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
