Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Tax Services to lead
their Tax Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Tax Department to ensure timely and
accurate tax preparation services
Manage a team of managers and tax professionals, fostering a
positive team culture and providing professional development
Collaborate with other departments to implement process
improvements and enhance client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration,
or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax and accounting, with 4
years in a managerial role
Proficiency in tax law, accounting principles, and regulatory
compliance (CPA or EA preferred)
Familiarity with tax software (Lacerte preferred) and accounting
software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Experience managing high volumes of clients is strongly
preferred
