TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Home Health RN in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 01201 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Community Health - Home Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum one year of acute nursing care required, hospital-based experience preferred; experience in home health required License: Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) and Current Driver License (and insurance) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Home Health (required), Proficient with OASIS, Infusion Therapy Certification (preferred) Must-Have: - Ability to function independently under general guidance - Demonstrated interpersonal and critical thinking skills - History of dependability and flexibility in assuming varied assignments - Ability to maintain confidential information and communicate clinical data effectively - Willingness to accept on-call responsibilities and work varied hours, including weekends and holidays - Ability to drive in inclement weather and a working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines - Proficiency in self-scheduling of caseload preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred Job Description: - Provide, teach, supervise, and document nursing care for patients at home - Promote, maintain, or restore health, prevent illness, and facilitate rehabilitation - Collaborate with healthcare providers, professionals, and community representatives to coordinate home care - Evaluate individual and family responses to interventions - Exercise independent judgment and follow unit-specific guidelines and protocols - Utilize time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills in care provision - Conform with customer service and performance standards and adhere to patient rights policy - Willingness to work during holidays as needed (Thanksgiving and weekend after, Christmas Eve/Day and weekend after, New Year---s Eve/Day and weekend after) - Non-billable orientation: 8 hours - Weekends: Every 2-3 weekends/holidays as needed 26066160EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Constantly adapting to new environments and healthcare facilities challenges you to expand your knowledge and skills.
