Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Job OpportunityAt Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support to our unit leadership, responding timely to resident and family needs, and delivering quality direct resident care.

• Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
• Use the nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
• Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, observing residents for desired or unwanted effects.
• Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise the Nursing Care Plan or update pertinent findings.
• Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
• Prepare, organize, oversee, and evaluate the delivery of care to resident CNA assignments and activities.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
  • Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
