Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As an Echocardiogram Sonographer, you will perform and monitor echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures, calculating, measuring, and documenting appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
Responsibilities:

• Perform Echocardiograms using a departmental protocol for obtaining images.
• Assist with TEE's and stress testing, providing images that support the physician's ability to diagnose patients appropriately.
• Identify problems & implement appropriate interventions, including reporting critical values.
• Set priorities for completion of studies based on acuity, patient preference and/or the coordination of care with nursing and other ancillary services.
• Provide EKG and Holter Services when Echo workload permits.

  Qualifications:
  • Required: Graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
  • Required: 6 months in clinical setting.
  • Preferred: 2 years.
  • Required: Registry eligible and BLS.
  • Preferred: RDMS, RDCS, or RCS.
