• Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support

• NBSTSA or NCCT required for surgical techs.

  • Job Summary: Surgical Services position at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, RWJBarnabas Health.
  • Shift: 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per day from 14:00 to 22:00.
  • Total hours: 37.5 hours per week for a duration of 13 weeks.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of current acute care OR experience in a similar size facility (597 beds) required.
    • Familiarity with robotic and ENT procedures, as well as kidney transplants.
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per month if needed.
      • On Call: 2 times monthly, must arrive within 30 minutes of being called.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Must be familiar with various surgical specialties including General, GYN, Urology, Plastics/Burns, Thoracic, Vascular, Neurology/Spine, and Orthopedics.
          • Additional Details
          • First-time travelers accepted.
