Healthcare Support is seeking a Social Work LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker for a local contract job in Greenport, New York.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Local ContractMain Responsibilities: Work in coordination with other professional staff to establish a therapeutic milieu for patient and families. Interview patients, relatives, friends and others to assess patient's biopsychosocial history and needs. Assist patients, families and support persons with issues arising from patient's admission to the hospital and develop discharge plans. Provides individual, spousal, family and group psychotherapy. Develop an appropriate discharge plan that reflects assessment of the patient's needs.
  
  Education and Qualifications
  Licensed Master of Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health
  BLS needed and CPTC training on sight which is paid.
  Counselor. NYS LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or eligible.
  MSW, MHC from an accredited Social Work Education School.
  Licensed and currently registered to practice in New York State.
  Must comply with NASW and AMHCA Code of Ethics
  Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor ("CASAC") preferred (NYS OASAS Canon of Ethics)
  Basic Life Support ("BLS") required: American Heart Association
  Ability to work and coordinate with established Medical and Behavioral Health Treatment Teams.
  Demonstrates good assessment and psychosocial skills.
