Job Description:
A Ma--tre D is the warm, friendly face that immediately greets
guests at the door, seats guests in a professional and prompt
manner, and works closely with management. Essential skills include
excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to
think and act quickly and effectively, and self-composure. Key
responsibilities include managing reservations, providing
exceptional hospitality to VIPs and regulars, and handling high
volume service with excellence. Additional requirements include
proficiency in a reservation system, food and wine knowledge, and
the ability to describe menu items. This role entails standing and
walking during entire shifts.
All candidates must have availability to work nights, weekends, and
holidays. Quality Italian is part of Quality Branded, a group of
upscale restaurants owned or managed by father-son restaurateurs
Alan and Michael Stillman with chef Craig Koketsu. Quality Branded
