Job Description:
A company is looking for a Critical Access Inpatient Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to complex
inpatient visit types
Review provider notes and collaborate with Clinical Documentation
Improvement for accurate coding
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain established
productivity and quality standards
Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years' experience in inpatient coding within an
Academic Medical Center
Current CCS, CIC, RHIA, or RHIT certification
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
effectively
Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in computer
systems
Knowledge of MS-DRG's, APR-DRG's, and coding conventions
